This very easy crockpot salisbury steaks recipe is made with frozen hamburger patties, a can of French onion soup, can of cream mushroom soup, and mushrooms.
Season the hamburger patties with the steak seasoning. Place in the crock pot in one layer. Then sprinkle half the sliced mushrooms over the patties.
Top with the remaining ground beef hamburger steaks and mushrooms.
Mix the French onion soup, cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, garlic, and worcestershire sauce together.
Pour the mixture over the hamburger patties and mushrooms.
Place the lid on the crock pot and cook on low for 4 hours.
Serve over mashed potatoes, buttered egg noodles, or rice.
Notes
For a thicker gravy, remove the patties from the crock pot after they are done cooking. Then mix a tablespoon of cornstarch with a tablespoon or two of water. Mix and power into the gravy. Whisk to combine. Place the patties back in the gravy.
