Corn Dog Muffins

Craving corn dogs but don't want to go through the process? This corn dog muffins recipe is an easy substitute for the fair favorite treat.

  • 8.5- ounce package cornbread mix
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup melted butter slightly cooled
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 Cup shredded cheddar or Colby cheese
  • 4 hot dogs cut into bite size pieces
  • mustard and ketchup for garnish


  1. Combine cornbread mix, brown sugar, butter, eggs, and milk in a bowl.
  2. Fold in cheese and hot dog pieces.
  3. Fill greased muffin pan 3/4 full of mixture.
  4. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes till muffins are gold brown.
  5. Serve with mustard and ketchup for dipping.
