Ingredients

French Toast

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons real maple syrup
  • 1 loaf bread
  • 8 eggs
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 1 cup half and half cream
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

Crumb Topping

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter

Instructions

  1. Mix together the 1 cup of brown sugar, 1/2 cup of butter, and maple syrup in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second increments until melted.

  2. Pour into a greased casserole crock pot insert.
