Redneck Water Park
It’s been hot here in south central Indiana. Not as hot as Minneapolis from what I hear, but hot. Of course our pool isn’t ready yet. But, the kids have been dying to play in the water. So, I introduce to you the redneck water park.
I don’t know who had more fun.
A working mom of two very active teenagers. My husband and I gave up running the 80-cow dairy farm that also included a couple of hundred acres of corn and soybeans to both work to support the agricultural industry. We still have about 20 head of dairy heifers and cows to help my kids appreciate the effort it takes to raise livestock. I consider myself a foodie as I love cooking and experimenting with recipes. Love it! We had a horse tank swimming pool for several years before my parents upgraded to an aboveground pool! Gotta love growing up in rural America.

I guess I'm a redneck too because I grew with a garden hose tied to our swing set slide. We even put a fancy plastic wading pool at the bottom of the slide to splash into…might be an idea for next time for you Leah! Great pics.
Great pictures! Looks like a blast! I had to water plants last night, and Adam kept running through the spray from the hose. So we had a redneck water park, too! The thermometer on the car said 87 when we got home. Way too hot for May in Iowa!

Looks like a great time. It has been hot in Iowa as well. Luckily, today it has cooled down! We had a great time spraying Dallas with the hose the other night as we watered the garden and flowers.
