Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz) can Rotel (diced tomatoes with green chilies)
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes (I prefer Red Gold with cilantro & lime)
  • ¼ white onion, roughly chopped
  • 1 tbsp jarred jalapeños (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp sugar

Back to this super easy salsa recipe. Start by putting a quarter of an onion and a tablespoon of jarred jalapeños into the food processor.

Pulse it a few times to get it all chopped up.

Grab a can of Rotel and a can of diced tomatoes and pour into the food processor. I love the Red Gold diced tomatoes with cilantro and lime juice when I make salsa. Adds a little extra zip.

I also put cumin, garlic powder, salt, and sugar into the mix. And then pulsate it again and get all the flavors combined for this easy salsa.

Ingredients

  • 1 can Rotel 10 ounces can of tomatoes and chilies
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes 14.5-ounce can
  • 1 tablespoon Jarred Jalapenos
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or two garlic gloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar

Instructions

  • Place the onion and jalapenos into a food processor and pulse till finely chopped.

    This such a good recipe. I did double it because the only size of canned tomatoes is 28oz. And of course in Texas Rotel is a pantry staple. I made it for my fajitas. And it is family approved. I will make again.
