Creamy Pickle Wrap Dip with Deli Ham – A Crowd-Pleasing Party Favorite
If you love pickle wraps, you’re going to be obsessed with this easy Pickle Wrap Dip! Made with chopped deli ham, crisp dill pickles, and a creamy base of cream cheese and sour cream, this dip takes everything you love about classic Midwestern pickle roll-ups and turns it into a scoopable, shareable, irresistible snack.
This is the kind of dip that disappears fast at potlucks, tailgates, and holiday parties. It’s low carb, keto-friendly, and gluten-free too, so it works for just about every kind of diet—unless you’re anti-pickle (and if you are, what are you doing here? 😉).

Our family is a big fan of the pickle wraps aka redneck sushi. So when I had a craving for them, I decided the dip form would be so much easier to make. This pickle wrap dip did not disappoint.
🥒 Ingredients You’ll Need
Here’s what makes this dip both quick to make and addictively good:

- 8 oz cream cheese, softened – I used regular cream cheese, but low-fat can be used as well.
- 1 cup sour cream – I used regular full-fat sour cream, but low-fat will work as well. Greek yogurt can also be substituted.
- 1 tablespoon dill weed – or two tablespoons fresh dill, and even the dill out of your pickle jar.
- 2 cups chopped dill pickles – Now, if I had my homemade pickles on hand, that is what I would use. Recommend buying the refrigerator pickles for ultimate crunch. Grillo’s pickles or Claussen pickles are the best option for me.
- 2 cups finely chopped deli ham – While I used Virginia Ham in this, dried beef can also work. Every family has their preference with the pickle wraps.
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Optional: garlic powder, onion powder, or a dash of pickle juice for extra zing

How to Make Pickle Wrap Dip
Making this dip is about as easy as it gets!
👉 Step 1: Mix the Base
In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and sour cream along with the onion and garlic powder until smooth and fluffy. You can use a hand mixer to make this easier.

👉 Step 2: Stir in the Good Stuff
Add in the chopped pickles, deli ham, and dill. Mix well until everything is evenly coated in the creamy base.

👉 Step 3: Chill (if you can wait)
While you can eat it right away, it tastes even better after an hour in the fridge. The flavors blend beautifully.

When you are ready to serve the dip, top offf with more chopped ham and pickles. Garnish with fresh dill if you have any. Then serve this with pita chips, crackers, or even tortilla chips.
