It really is hard to believe Thanksgiving is four days away! I guess it snuck up on me since I am not cooking any turkey at my house. But, I am hoping to torture my husband with leftovers that I can steal away from the big meal.
I was inspired to start plotting planning what I would use all the leftover goodies for when I saw the best chicken and dumplings ever linked up by Permanent Posies to last week's Hunk of Meat Monday.
I feel like sometimes we go into this perpetual merry go round with turkey sandwiches and turkey noodle casseroles. So, I thought I would look for some must eat, out of the box recipes for the beloved leftover turkey.
Let's begin with sandwiches.
Now, let's go to the beloved casseroles and savory pies.
Let's see what you have cooking up this week. Can't wait to see what ideas I can steal!

We usually make a turkey, cheese, crackers, pickles, olives, banana pepper platter and watch a long series of movies (like Lord of the Rings)...that's our little tradition ๐
P.S. This is my first time linking up and I just wanted to say that I love the idea behind Hunk of Meat Monday! I'm a well-balanced meat eater, so it's nice to see someone else is too ๐
